OVERVIEW OF MAJOR
Do you like to know where the information is and how to use it to aid business decision-making? Does data analysis and interpretation interest you? Would you like to play an important decision-making role in a business enterprise? Are you a good communicator and team worker? Are technical expertise, accuracy, and accountability important to you? If so, a degree in Business Administration may be for you.

The College of Business prepares students with the knowledge and skills needed to become effective leaders and decision makers in today’s dynamic business environment. The four-year curriculum leads to a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Business Administration. The program focuses on gaining a breadth of knowledge and experiences in all of the business disciplines. Students select at least one concentration and take 21-25 credits to specialize their knowledge during junior and senior years. Concentrations include:

- Computer Information Systems
- Finance
- Financial Planning
- Human Resource Management
- Management
- Marketing
- Real Estate
- Supply Chain Management

The College of Business has a strong reputation among regional, national, and international employers. As a whole, graduates from the College of Business are well prepared to enter challenging positions. The program centers on an approach which emphasizes: knowledge of concepts, processes, and institutions; understanding of the financial, economic, legal, ethical, social, and organizational influences; information systems; and interpersonal communications. The senior capstone course offers an opportunity for students to apply these skills in an active and engaging learning environment.

In a global marketplace, students will benefit from an international experience and a worldwide perspective. CSU offers a range of education abroad options, internships, and volunteer positions in every continent but Antarctica. The College of Business encourages students to take advantage of these opportunities.
